The wildly popular TV series â€Å"The Walking Dead† was created and developed by Frank Darabont and was originally released October 31, 2010. Rick Grimes is the main character. He awakes from a coma to find the world has been taken over by a zombie apocalypse. Rick fight his way out of the hospital only to realize that his family and everyone else from the town has left or been turned into a zombie. Rick sets out on a mission to find his wife and son. along the way he make meets many characters that will eventually influence the story along the way. Rick eventually meets up with his family who has joined a small group that is filled with a hodgepodge of different personalities. Together they try to survive an apocalyptic world. The Walking Dead TV series is rarely recognized for its technical writing, inovative special effects, and strong character development. These elements make the Walking Dead TV series on of the best series on television today. Everyone should watch the Walking Dead TV series. Throughout the story the writers build a connection to each character. Every scene builds the feeling of family and friendship. Continuiously envoking the stress of a zombie nation while incorporating moments of safety and the idea that someday happiness is possible. The writing forces the viewer to feel what the characters are experiencing. These characters come from all different walks of life and affect the story, through their actions.
